Inquire About Group TrainingWhy Train as a Team?
When whole teams train together, change happens faster and goes further. Shared language, shared skills, and shared accountability transform not just individual clinicians — but entire practices and systems.
REACH group training is designed to do exactly that: build sustained capacity across your organization so more individuals get the care they need, sooner.

SOME PARTNERS WE’VE WORKED WITH
What Institutions Are Saying
Hear from the health systems, practices, and program leaders who have brought REACH training to their teams.
“After sending three cohorts of PCPs from across Vermont to The REACH Institute’s signature PPP training, we have seen our PCP partners grow tremendously in their confidence with treating mental health conditions, including increased comfort in evidence-based suicide prevention. We see demonstration of this skill building in the foundational knowledge and growing complexity of questions they bring to us.”
— Ellen Arrowsmith
Director, Vermont Child Psychiatry Access Program (VTCPAP)
“When I think about what troubles pediatricians, health systems and families, so many topics lead back to worries about the high level of emotional and mental health strains on today’s children and teens. For health systems looking for solutions, I find that partnering with REACH gives local PCPs access to the full breadth of what we need to know in order to bring families high-quality care every day. A stronger community system helps everyone feel more confident and ready to serve when children and families ask for help.”
— Anu Partap, MD, MPH
Pediatrician, My Butterfly and Me, and REACH trainer
“The REACH PPP Training continues to be transformative in the way our organization is able to provide behavioral and mental health care for our patients and their families. After having all of our primary care clinicians attend the training in 2020–2022, Children’s Primary Care Medical Group (CPCMG) made a commitment to pay for all new hires start the training within 6 months of their onboarding to ensure that all of our clinicians (MD/DO/NP/PA) have the same knowledge and training regardless of where they received their terminal degree.”
— Hilary M. Bowers, MD, FAAP
Director of Behavioral and Mental Health Services, Children’s Primary Care Medical Group

Group Training Questions Answered
Everything your organization needs to know about bringing REACH training to your team.
REACH group training delivers our evidence-based pediatric mental health programs directly to groups of clinicians within your health system, hospital network, or practice. We customize delivery to fit your team’s context, clinical environment, and goals — combining dynamic skill-building workshops with months of ongoing case-based coaching.
Our flagship PPP group training is designed for 20-50 clinicians. For larger organizations, we can schedule multiple group trainings or work with you through our train-the-trainer program to build sustainable internal capacity over time.
REACH works with primary care practices, pediatric health systems, hospital networks, mental health clinics, federally qualified health centers, community health organizations, academic medical centers, telepsychiatry access programs, schools, and government agencies — any institution committed to improving mental health outcomes
Yes. REACH delivers group training on-site, virtually, or in a hybrid format — designed to minimize disruption to your team’s clinical schedule while maximizing engagement and skill retention
REACH’s train-the-trainer program certifies selected faculty within your institution to deliver REACH training. This allows organizations to build lasting internal capacity, train clinicians continuously, and sustain impact long-term.
Our comprehensive programs, such as the PPP and ABH, run over four months — beginning with a 3-day workshop, followed by twice-monthly case-based learning calls. Specialized programs vary in duration based on topic and depth. We’ll work with your team to find a schedule that fits
Your organization can expect clinicians to improve their knowledge, skills, and comfort with evidence-based mental health care. A 2025 independent evaluation of the PPP program found that PPP participants increased billable revenue by $7,800/clinician and resulted in annual ACO cost savings of $68,000/clinician. When measured across the participating organization, the training generated a 15.9x ROI.
Pricing is tailored to your group, so it depends on factors like the number of participants and whether training is in-person or virtual. We’re happy to talk through what makes sense for you based on your goals and find an option that fits your group.
Two differences stand out.
First, the structure. Every REACH program begins with a 1-3 day workshop built around interactive learning, such as role plays and hands-on skills building, not lectures. From there, clinicians join twice-monthly coaching calls to discuss real cases with peers and faculty. That ongoing support is what drives lasting practice change. Project ECHO typically runs as a series of 1-hour calls combining didactic content with case discussion. Both models have value, but different aims: ECHO disseminates information and best practices; REACH changes the practices of PCPs in clinical settings.
Second, standardization. Every REACH graduate completes the same curriculum, whether they trained in person or virtually, and regardless of who taught the course. That standardization means a common foundation of knowledge and skills – every time, everywhere. ECHO series vary by organization, instructor, and topic, covering a wide range of clinical areas beyond mental health.
The good news: they work well together. Many of our partners run both the REACH PPP program and an ECHO series. The REACH training builds a shared mental health foundation, while the ECHO series can then go deeper on topics outside our scope, such as eating disorders, or address areas of local interest.
Fill out the inquiry form on this page and a member of the REACH team will be in touch to discuss your organization’s goals, clinical environment, and the right training pathway. We’ll handle the rest.
