Emily Picciola, MD, is a pediatrician at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA, where she cares for children with diverse needs, including many with autism. She also teaches residents who will go on to practice primary care in rural Louisiana. With her REACH training, she plans to train residents on how to screen, identify, and support children with mental health concerns, helping to expand access to care across the state.
